Who we are

The Launch Office Inc. (“The Launch Office,” “we,” “us”) is a product development, brand strategy and retail growth consultancy based in Toronto, Ontario. We are responsible for personal information under our control and follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Office Line (contact form): your name, email, company or brand, preferred contact method, phone number (if you choose phone or text), best time to reach you, time zone and your message.

The Brief (Stories, Brand and Product briefs): your name, email, company, website, category, stage, markets, timeline, how you heard about us, your answers about your occasion, brand or product, and any documents you choose to upload.

We do not ask for payment information through these forms.

Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry, understand your project, prepare a proposal or quote, and communicate with you about working together. We will not use your information for unrelated purposes without your consent.

Consent

By submitting a form you consent to our collection and use of your information as described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may limit our ability to respond to you.

How it is stored

Submissions and uploaded documents are stored with secure cloud service providers using encryption in transit, and access is restricted to authorized Launch Office staff. Your information may be stored or processed outside Canada (for example, in the United States) and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, database and email delivery providers), and, with your permission, with manufacturers or partners when needed to scope your project. All providers are required to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and brief information for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement plus up to seven years for business and legal records. Inquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within two years.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email build@thelaunchoffice.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
